Here is a 70’s/80’s vintage Model 2-8″ User with a Customer supplied handle material.

I originally thought it had a wood handle, but once I had it in hand I noticed it’s a black/burgundy/brown wood grain type Micarta! The only other knives that I can recall using this material were the early Al Mar knives.

Anyhow, as you can obviously see, the blade is stained from improper sheath storage. But it’s still an awesome knife at a good price!
$500 will get my money back!
